Therapy for Women

Welcome!
There are times in our lives where we have seemingly reached the end of our own resources to look at old problems with new eyes, to find new ways of relating to difficult people and to recognize burgeoning aspects of our changing selves. There are times where the wisest path forward is the one we can walk alongside someone else. I delight in the difficult, life-giving work of being that someone else to my clients. I enjoy bringing authentic warmth, humor and vibrancy to my therapeutic work.

About Me
My desire as a therapist is to welcome clients into a sacred space where they feel safe enough to do the powerful and challenging work of intentionally seeking healing, improved understanding, and deeper relationships with others, God (or the Higher Power of their own understanding) and themselves. As a sensitive, introspective person with my own complexities and as a compassionate, empathetic therapist, I identify with Henri Nouwen’s writings about “Wounded Healers.” I bring my own journey of suffering and healing into the therapy room and seek to walk alongside others on their own path.
In my therapeutic work, I value supporting individuals who have faced religious trauma and those who have previously navigated restrictive faith-based environments. With personal insights gained from my own journey through diverse faith communities, I bring compassion to guide you on your path to healing and a greater sense of peace. I particularly connect with individuals questioning their upbringing and seekers desiring a spiritual component in their therapeutic journey.
I am a mother to three kids and have firsthand experience with raising neurodiverse children. I deeply enjoy working with mothers and caregivers of all types, especially those whose children are on the Autism Spectrum or who have other pervasive developmental disorders. I have an affinity towards mothers of children who struggle in various ways.
I value nature, compassion, music, laughter, physical movement and self-reflection. I also love great books, extra hot coffee, weeding in my yard and theme parks.
Payment & Insurance
My fee is $200 per 50-minute therapy session. Although I am not in network for insurance, I am happy to support you with looking into the possibility of utilizing out of network insurance benefits. If you do have out of network benefits, I will provide you with a super bill that you can submit to your insurance.
